PEAKMYBODY Ltd – Refund & Cancellation Policy

PEAKMYBODY Ltd provides appointment-based services including VO2 max testing, metabolism testing, fitness assessments, classes, personal training, and fitness training packages. This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, refunds, and no-shows are handled, in full compliance with UK consumer law.

1. Bookings for a Specific Date & Time

All appointments with PEAKMYBODY Ltd are booked for a specific date and time.
Under the
Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, Regulation 28(1)(h), services scheduled for a set date/time are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off cancellation period.

This means customers do not have an automatic legal right to cancel or request a refund once a date has been confirmed.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans may change, and we will always try to be fair.

2.1 Notice Period

Cancellations or rescheduling with more than 48 hours’ notice:
You may reschedule your appointment once at no charge.

Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 48 hours’ notice:
The full booking fee is charged and the session is non-refundable.

No-shows (failure to attend without notice):
The session is forfeited and non-refundable.

The above applies to all services unless stated otherwise.

3. Refunds

3.1 Non-Refundable Sessions

All sessions are non-refundable once booked. This includes:

VO2 max testing appointments

Metabolism testing appointments

Body composition testing

Personal training sessions

Classes and group sessions

Fitness Training Packages

Any service held at PEAKMYBODY Ltd or at partner gyms

This is because a confirmed booking reserves a dedicated time slot, staff, equipment, and preparation that cannot be reallocated at short notice.

3.2 When Refunds ARE Given

Refunds are only provided when:

PEAKMYBODY Ltd cancels your appointment and cannot offer a suitable alternative

A service cannot be delivered due to an error on our side

Required by law under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (e.g., failure to perform the service with reasonable care and skill)

Refunds are not offered for client cancellations, late arrivals, or no-shows.

4. Gift Cards / Gift Vouchers

Gift cards are non-refundable.

They may be used to book any eligible service.

Expiry is 12 months from the purchase date unless stated otherwise.

Once a gift voucher is used to book an appointment, the same cancellation rules apply.

5. Late Arrival

To protect the experience of other clients:

Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in the session being shortened or cancelled.

The session remains non-refundable.

6. Partner Gyms & Mobile Testing Locations

Where tests or sessions are performed at a partner gym:

The same cancellation and refund rules apply.

PEAKMYBODY Ltd is the service provider; partner gyms do not handle refunds or cancellations.

7. Medical & Health Considerations

We do not offer refunds due to:

Illness

Injury

Temporary medical issues

Pre-existing conditions not disclosed at booking

You may reschedule with more than 48 hours’ notice.

If you become medically unable to train or test long-term, we may request evidence and offer a fair solution at our discretion.

8. Communication of Policies

All customers:

Must agree to this policy at the time of booking

Are sent confirmation including date, time, location, and terms

Are responsible for ensuring they can attend their booking
